IELTS test in Vietnam – October 2021 (Academic Module)

Our generous friend N.N. recently took his IELTS exam in Vietnam and remembered the following questions:

Listening test

Part 1. An application form for a rental property.

Part 2. About new ways to overcome flood problems.

Part 3. Don’t remember.

Part 4. About music.

Reading test

Passage 1. About koalas and a conservation program for them.

Passage 2. The process of chocolate production.

Passage 3. A case study about flexible working hours.

Writing test

Writing task 1 (a report)

We were given a pie chart and a triple line graph. The pie chart showed the distribution of workforce which included three groups of people (born in Australia, English-speaking and non-English-speaking countries) in per cent in 2003. The line graph compared the unemployment rates in those groups between 1993 and 2003.

Writing task 2 (an essay)

Schools should not force children to learn a foreign language, because some students don’t have a natural ability for languages. Do you agree or disagree with this statement?
