Writing task 1 (a letter)
You recently took a trip to another city, and you had a plan to visit your friend who is living there. However, you couldn’t see him/her. Write a letter to your friend, and say
– Apologize for not being able to meet.
– Give your reasons.
– Suggest how you can meet some other time.
Writing Task 2 (an essay)
In the past people wore their traditional clothes and followed their culture. These days most people wear similar clothes and therefore look very similar to one another. Do you think this is a positive or a negative development?
