IELTS test in India – November 2019 (Academic Module)

Our friend R took an Academic IELTS test in India and remembered the following topics and questions:

Listening testIELTS test in India

Section 1. About cooking classes.
Questions: filling in blanks, multiple choice.

Section 2. A lecture about whales and their behaviour.
Questions: filling in blanks, short-answer questions (no more than 3 words).

Section 3. Don’t remember.

Section 4. About the history of salt production.
Questions: filling in blanks, short-answer questions (no more than 2 words).

Reading test

Passage 1. A study about otters.

Passage 2. An article on photography.

Passage 3. Don’t remember.

Writing test

Writing task 1 (a report)

We were given two maps showing the changes in the riverside park between 2010 and 2015.

Writing task 2 (an essay)

Nowadays schools should not use textbooks because children get bored with books. Using games, computers and TV is a better way to give them new information and knowledge. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?
