IELTS test in Russia – August 2019 (Academic Module)

When E took the IELTS exam in Russia, the following questions appeared in the test paper:

Listening testIELTS test in Russia

Section 1. Children sport camp application form.
Questions: short-answer questions (no more than 1 word).

Section 2. An art gallery description.
Questions: short-answer questions (no more than 2 words), multiple choice.

Section 3. Dialogue between a student and a teacher, including feedback for a previous session and then a discussion about choice of profession.

Section 4. Lecture about genetic deceases.

Reading test

Passage 1. About development of video games.

Passage 2. About the difference between arts and engineering.

Passage 3. Lecture about Darwin’s theory and work.

Writing test

Writing task 1 (a report)

We were given a line graph showing different sources of air pollution such as industry, households and transport.

Writing task 2 (an essay)

Nowadays many students live with their families while others go to another city to study at a university. Discuss advantages and disadvantages of both scenarios. Include relevant examples in your answer.
